UK Tour
In March '58 Buddy & The Crickets were one of the first US rock & roll groups to appear in the UK.
On March 10th they got a tour of the Austin Motor Car Factory & Showroom
with Norman Petty & Wally Eaton (tour mgr.)
March 6th, photo from the Journal & North Mail. Backstage at City Hall in Newcastle.
Meeting fan Joe McCue also in Newcastle. He had traveled 300 miles
from Scotland to see the show & had written a request to meet him backstage for an autograph.
